Ability Action Australia is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our community-based team supporting NDIS participants across Australia. You will evaluate, develop and deliver evidence-based support plans, setting meaningful goals and building capacity within the support network.
Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will champion reducing restrictive practices while navigating paperwork with clarity and compassion.
Welcome to Ability Action Australia, where we help NDIS participants (0-65 years) get more out of life, more independence, more confidence, more growth, more wins.
Every day, we're in the community helping people do life better... and honestly, it feels pretty epic.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll be a supporter, a strategist, a behaviour detective and occasionally the person who teaches everyone to breathe again after a breakdown.
Your work will be meaningful, hands-on, and genuinely life-changing for the people you support.
We look after our people - properly.
You are welcome here.
Our fast-growing team of more than 4,000 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills and ways of thinking. We value all these differences.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, proudly welcoming people with disability including mental health conditions, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people from the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, carers and Indigenous Australians to our team.
We are happy to adjust our recruitment process to support accessibility needs.
