Job summary

Y NSW in Epping is seeking a Casual Beginner Gymnastics Coach to work with new gymnasts, building confidence and foundational skills in a warm, welcoming setting. You will deliver age-appropriate sessions and foster a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Background or experience in gymnastics (any level)
• Passion for coaching and helping others learn
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude
• Patience and the ability to adapt coaching style to different learners
• Current coaching accreditation or willingness to obtain one
• Valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics sessions for beginners
• Create a safe and positive environment where everyone feels welcome
• Teach fundamental gymnastics skills and techniques with patience and enthusiasm
• Support gymnasts of all ages and abilities as they take their first steps in the sport
• Communicate openly with participants and their families
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all gymnasts during training sessions

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Casual Beginner Gymnastics Coach, you'll be working closely with new gymnasts, helping them build their confidence and foundational skills in a warm and welcoming setting. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Delivering fun, engaging, and age-appropriate gymnastics sessions for beginners
• Creating a safe and positive environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged
• Teaching fundamental gymnastics skills and techniques with patience and enthusiasm
• Supporting gymnasts of all ages and abilities as they take their very first steps in the sport
• Communicating openly and warmly with participants and their families
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all gymnasts during training sessions

• A background or experience in gymnastics (at any level!)

• A current or willingness to obtain relevant coaching accreditation
• A valid Working with Children Check (or equivalent)
