Job summary

Camp Australia in Hurstville is seeking Educators to create engaging, safe programs before and after school and during holidays for primary school children. You’ll help kids grow, learn, and build lasting memories while supporting families and local schools.

Ideal candidates show enthusiasm for childcare, are willing to study a Diploma, and hold or pursue essential certifications such as WWCC, safety training and first aid. Availability during morning and afternoon shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare and strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed or willing to study a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30 am–9:00 am and 2:30 pm–6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant before/after school program.
• Take part in daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community.
