Target is seeking a commercially driven Category Manager Beauty in Australia to lead the strategic direction, growth and performance of the Beauty category. You will collaborate with a passionate team to build a premium portfolio, secure exclusive partnerships and drive speed to market from acquisition to launch.

You will shape the future of Target Beauty, manage supplier relationships, and lead a high-performing team across buying, planning and marketing to deliver standout customer experiences

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management or Buying within Beauty or related retail.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver sales growth, margin improvement and category performance.
• Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction, growth and performance of the Beauty category.
• Develop a premium and exclusive brand portfolio aligned to customer trends.
• Secure strategic brand partnerships and manage relationships.
• Drive sales, profitability and market share across the category.
• Lead end-to-end category planning, ranging, pricing and promotions.
• Create an elevated in-store beauty experience with cross-functional teams.
• Accelerate speed to market from brand acquisition to launch.
• Develop a long-term private label and product innovation strategy.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of Buyers, Planners and Assistants.
