Job summary

Boston Consulting Group is seeking a Lead Architect in Australia to drive technology cases and architecture modules within client engagements. You will partner with clients to define IT strategies, architecture solutions and gain executive buy-in for recommended approaches.

What You'll Do

As a Lead Architect, you'll be responsible for leading technology cases or the technology modules within a BCG case/project to solve our clients problems; work on a variety of tech/digital topics, applying speciality/generalist consulting skills to strategic digital & technology questions. Partner with clients to understand their issues, define IT strategies, architecture solutions, win buy-in for your recommendations, and collaborate with BCGers to transform client potential into performance. You will be a Lead / Principal who is passionate about driving thought leadership across our Technology agenda which a particular focus on ERP/SAP offering in the market, have tech/architecture project responsibility, key stakeholder management and client deliverables.

What You'll Bring

• 10-15 years' experience in a strategy, management or technology consultancy; digital/technology and/or industry experience
• Senior Technology Leader/Senior Manager/Director - Enterprise Architect with extensive experience in:- Industrial Goods, Consumer Products, Government/Public Sector, Healthcare and/or Energy sectors- Core system modernisation / systems of record experience in Banking/Financial Institutions; Mining and/or Consumer
• In depth knowledge of architecting solutions at an enterprise scale
• Experience leading high performing technology case/project/delivery teams
• Experience driving presales/BD, proposal development through to Executive C-suite client presentations
• Credible technology leader with a passion for capability build, driving, developing and publishing thought leadership articles
• Thrive in a hypothesis-led environment and ability to frame strategic challenges from a digital/tech perspective
• Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability and conceptual thinking
• Excellent communication, story-lining, client facing and consulting skills
• Commercial/strategic mindset, presence and senior gravitas* Enterprise architectural frameworks and methods including TOGAF and/or related certifications
• Bachelors degree preferably in an IT/Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• MBA, Masters or PhD will be highly regarded
• Flexibility to travel within A/NZ, Asia Pacific and globally as required.
