A leading organisation in the banking sector is seeking a Technical Business Analyst (Infrastructure) for a critical programme focused on data centre rationalisation. You will drive technical discovery, engage technical stakeholders, and produce actionable outputs for planning and delivery. Preferred candidates have experience in financial services and strong knowledge of infrastructure projects. The role offers hybrid working arrangements and is an initial 9-month contract based in Melbourne.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience delivering banking programmes (financial services experience is essential).
Strong background across infrastructure projects (data centre, networks, and/or enterprise infrastructure change).
Proven capability in technical discovery – identifying dependencies, constraints, risks, and migration considerations.
Responsibilities
Drive infrastructure & networking discovery to understand the current estate, impacts, and dependencies.
Support the initial audit, data mining, and documentation of technical requirements to enable planning and delivery.
Work across multiple squads/workstreams to align sequencing, risks, constraints, and interdependencies.
Engage technical stakeholders and third-party partners to confirm impacts and requirements.
Produce clear, actionable BA outputs that translate discovery into delivery-ready plans.
