Job summary

Singh Plantation Pty Ltd in Queensland is seeking a permanent Production Horticulturist for a full-time role (38 hours per week) at our farm locations in QLD. The candidate will manage the entire crop growth cycle from tissue culture to harvest, maximising yield and quality while maintaining safety and efficiency across farm operations.

The role requires an AQF III qualification and at least 1 year of experience in horticulture or farming.

Qualifications

• At least AQF III qualification.
• 1 year of minimum experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximise crop yield and fruit quality by managing the complete plant growth cycle from tissue culture planting through to harvesting.
• Perform land preparation activities and banana cultivation procedures.
• Train and supervise farm workers and equipment operators to follow safety SOPs.
• Develop and implement scheduled work plans for planting, maintenance, and harvesting.
• Monitor field operations and crop performance; take corrective actions to protect crop health.
