Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a Bakery Department Assistant for a permanent part-time role of 25 hours per week. You will support the Bakery Manager with daily operations and ensure product availability while delivering excellent customer service.

This position offers on-site training, opportunities for career progression and exposure to leading a small team, merchandising, rostering and stock control in a busy supermarket environment.

Qualifications

• Food handling experience or fresh food retail knowledge
• Exposure to supporting or leading a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the bakery department and ensure full product availability
• Support inventory management and stock levels, merchandising and rosters
