Job summary

Coles is seeking a Trade Qualified Baker to join our bakery team in Sydney. You will contribute to a well-presented, welcoming bakery department and take pride in every loaf you deliver while working in a fast-paced environment.

You should have a formal baking qualification, extensive high-speed baking experience, and a strong knowledge of food safety. A customer-focused mindset and willingness to mentor teammates are essential.

About the Role

We’re searching for a Trade Qualified Baker with experience in fast-paced bakery environments. • Trade Certification or Diploma: A formal qualification in baking is required, showcasing your commitment to the trade.
• Extensive baking experience: Particularly in a high-speed baking setting. This is the yeast that will help our team rise to the occasion.
• Food safety and hygiene knowledge: We take safety and hygiene seriously. Your knowledge of these aspects is essential to uphold our high standards.
• Customer obsessed: Our customers are at the heart of what we do. We’re looking for someone who can delight our customers with their love for baking.
• Passion for quality and consistency: You take pride in every loaf that you deliver.
• Mentorship and Team Support: We are looking for a team player who can coach and support other team members in honing their craft.
