Coles Group in Australia is recruiting a dedicated Baker to join our new Coles store bakery. You’ll bring bread‑making expertise to a fast‑paced environment and take pride in a welcoming, well presented department that delivers quality products.

About the role

We’re opening a NEW Coles store and we’re looking fora Baker to join us!

Are you a master of the dough, a connoisseur of crusts, and a wizard with yeast? If so, we want you to be a key ingredient in our bakery team! We’re searching for a Baker with experience in the art of bread‑making in a fast‑paced bakery environments. You’ll take pride in contributing to a bakery department which is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging.

About you and your skills

• Trade Certification or Diploma: A formal qualification in baking is required, showcasing your commitment to the trade.
• Baking experience: Your baking experience ensures that you can produce top‑quality bread products efficiently and consistently.
• Food safety and hygiene knowledge: We take safety and hygiene seriously. Your knowledge of these aspects is essential to uphold our high standards.
• Customer obsessed: Our customers are at the heart of what we do. We’re looking for someone who can delight our customers with their love for baking.
• Passion for quality and consistency: You take pride in every loaf that you deliver.
• Mentorship and Team Support: We are looking for a team player who can coach and support other team members in honing their craft.
