Job summary

ZSoft Technologies in Canberra seeks a hands-on Senior Azure DevSecOps / Platform Engineer to build a secure, automated foundation for Power Platform and Azure PaaS delivery. You will shape enterprise pipelines and controls, not just operate them, driving secure, repeatable releases across environments.

Key responsibilities include establishing CI/CD pipelines, IaC via Bicep/Terraform, secret management, and integrating security gates and monitoring to enable reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines and CI/CD implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS and infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform).
• Proficiency in secret management (Key Vault) and security tooling (SAST/DAST, Defender).
• Strong monitoring, diagnostics and deployment verification capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and configure Azure DevOps delivery capability.
• Develop reusable CI/CD and YAML pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code.
• Establish controlled promotion across Dev, Test, UAT and Production.
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning and quality gates.
• Implement SAST/DAST and dependency/security scanning.
• Configure secrets and configuration management.
• Implement monitoring, diagnostics and deployment validation.
• Establish rollback/recovery patterns.
• Develop reusable engineering and deployment templates.
• Support application releases and troubleshoot pipeline/environment issues.
• Produce operational documentation and transfer knowledge to Department teams.
