Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our Microsoft Cloud team, delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions for enterprise customers in Australia. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, apply IaC using Bicep and Terraform, and automate Azure provisioning.

This hands‑on role requires strong Azure expertise, DevSecOps practices, and collaboration with architects, developers, and security specialists to drive platform engineering and cloud transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

Hands-on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience with Azure.
Experience with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and automation.
Proven Terraform and Bicep expertise.
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity, governance, monitoring and security.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Develop IaC solutions using Bicep and Terraform.
Automate Azure provisioning and deployment processes.
Support landing zones, governance controls, and platform engineering.
Implement security controls and compliance within delivery pipelines.
Deploy and manage Azure services (networking, storage, identity, Key Vault, App Services, AKS, monitoring).
Collaborate with project teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
Troubleshoot deployment, automation, and infra issues.
Drive continuous improvement through templates and automation patterns.
