Job summary

People First Bank is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join the Data and Insights team in Australia. The role focuses on administration and improvement of the Data and Insight platform, building scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting.

You will work with PySpark, Python and Azure Data Services to deliver robust ETL/ELT solutions, mentor junior teammates, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, security, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and building data pipelines for analytical use cases.
• Hands-on with Azure Cloud Services and data platform administration.
• Proficient in SQL, PySpark and Python for data processing.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
