Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is seeking a hands-on Delivery Consultant with full‑stack engineering and cloud architecture expertise to design and deliver cloud‑based solutions for customers.

You will work across modern frontends and cloud‑native backends, leveraging AI-assisted tooling and modern frameworks to implement distributed systems on AWS, with an emphasis on best practices, security, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer-facing consulting experience designing and implementing software solutions

Delivery Consultant: Full Stack Engineer, AWS Professional Services

Are you a full-stack engineer who enjoys learning and solving challenging problems? Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing, GenAI, and agentic technologies? We are seeking a hands-on Delivery Consultant with software engineering and cloud architecture expertise to deliver consulting engagements within AWS Professional Services.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across diverse technologies, from modern frontends to cloud-native backends, with the autonomy to design innovative solutions that directly impact customers.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption.

Key job responsibilities

• Solution Delivery: Work directly with customers to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver working software. Build distributed systems, modernise existing applications, and implement best practices across cloud environments.
• Full Stack Development: Design, build, and ship cloud-native applications end-to-end. Develop responsive frontend interfaces (e.g., React, Vue) and scalable backend services (e.g., Python, .NET, PostgreSQL), deploying on AWS with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agentic Engineering: Use AI-powered development tools as part of your daily workflow. Champion agentic software development methodologies and leverage AI to accelerate coding, testing, code review, and delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer-facing consulting experience designing and implementing software solutions
• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript or .NET, with strong foundations in system design
• Experience with AWS technologies, including designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application modernisation patterns and strategies, including refactoring and re-platforming techniques
• Experience in API design and implementation (e.g. REST, GraphQL, gRPC), including authentication and authorisation using identity protocols such as OAuth
• Experience with one or more modern relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), including data modelling and query optimisation
• Experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular), including component-based architecture and state management
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices patterns at scale
• Experience with agentic software development methodologies, using AI agents to accelerate development workflows, including coding, testing, debugging, and code review
