Job summary

Australian Securities Exchange in Sydney is seeking a Solution Architect for Data & Integration with AWS and Kafka expertise. You will lead the design and delivery of mission-critical data platforms and drive architecture across large projects.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, SDLC experience in both traditional and agile methods, and a degree in CS or Software Engineering. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing solution architectures for mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS data platforms and event-driven/data-driven architectures.
• Proven ability to document solution designs, data flows, controls and architecture artefacts.
• Experience in hybrid (legacy/cloud) architectures with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS.
• SDLC experience in traditional and agile methodologies.
• Tertiary degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve mission-critical data & integration platforms with focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Define architectures addressing stakeholder requirements across risk management and collateral processes.
• Lead design and development of solution architectures across multiple large-scale projects.
• Represent architecture in governance forums and with stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and high-quality documentation for solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysis, Delivery, Infrastructure, IT Service Ownership, Quality Engineering, and Testing.
