Job summary

The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a Federal Government entity in Canberra. The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable AWS solutions across Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB and RDS within an Agile project environment.

You will scope work for sprint cycles, design and develop solutions to operational problems, manage defects, and create technical documentation to capture configuration and design details. This contract is 8 months with extensions possible.

Qualifications

• Experience building secure, scalable AWS applications.
• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud security controls.
• Able to work in an Agile multidisciplinary team.

Our client, a Federal Government entity is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer.

About the role - AWS Cloud Engineer

Work flexibly as part of a team and independently, across a range of projects at the same time and across geographic areas (offices).

• Provide scope and sizing of work for inclusion in sprint cycles, design and develop solutions to operational problems and issues.
• Manage and resolve defects as part of the standard development process, manage and own assigned tickets through to completion.
• Develop technical documentation to capture solution design and configuration

Skills / Experience - AWS Cloud Engineer

• Demonstrated experience developing secure, scalable AWS applications, including Lambda, EC2 and S3, database technologies such as DynamoDB or RDS and cloud security controls.
• Ability to deliver effectively in a multidisciplinary Agile team, including estimating work, resolving defects, completing assigned tasks, communicating technical solutions clearly
