Job summary

The HR Ally is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and deploy scalable, highly available AWS solutions in Sydney. You will translate business requirements into robust cloud architectures and lead migration and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate AWS services, ensuring security and compliance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework, and collaborating with data scientists to integrate ML models.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable, highly available cloud architectures on AWS.
• Ability to translate business requirements into robust cloud designs.
• Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems and API integrations.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Kubernetes preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, highly available AWS solutions.
• Translate business needs into robust cloud architectures.
• Lead cloud strategy, migration, and modernization initiatives.
• Choose AWS services for compute, storage, database, networking and security.
• Ensure compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Define architecture standards and reusable patterns.
• Review architecture designs (HLD/LLD) against standards.
• Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models.
• Ensure data security, governance and ethical AI usage.
• Guide microservices, distributed systems and API integration.
• Advise on DevOps practices, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
