Job summary

CBR Qld, a Fraser Coast builder, is seeking an experienced Carpenter for commercial maintenance and projects. This hands-on role offers variety, autonomy and a supportive team, with an established PM coordinating works and scope ownership for you.

You'll read plans, manage tasks across renovations and maintenance, work in live environments such as schools and housing, and stay compliant with WHS and site procedures while delivering quality finish.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent trade qualification.
• 5+ years' post-trade experience with commercial/maintenance/renovations.
• Current unrestricted manual driving licence and a suitable trade vehicle.
• Construction White Card.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children clearance and a Queensland Police Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial carpentry across renovations, upgrades, fit-outs, maintenance and modifications.
• Read and understand scopes, plans and site information.
• Plan and organise daily work to keep allocated tasks progressing to schedule.
• Record works in our job management system with photos, notes and site sign-ins/outs.
• Work safely in live environments including schools, occupied housing and community facilities.
