TAFE NSW Life-Changing Careers at Mount Druitt campus is seeking a General Assistant Toolstore Person in the Automotive section. The role supports students, handles purchasing and organizing tools, and assists staff to ensure smooth, hands-on learning experiences.

This position is a temporary full-time opportunity until June 2027, with flexible shifts between 8am and 9:30pm and some physical duties. A WHS mindset and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid NSW Working with Children Check required before commencement.
• Experience in Automotive trade environment or related work areas.
• Experience in purchasing within a trade environment.
• Experience using hand & power tools, small machinery, and tool maintenance.
• Ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to enhance frontline class support.
• Support students by contributing to a positive learning experience.
• Purchasing and organizing tools, equipment and materials for students and staff.
• Carry out manual handling activities.
