Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced service environment.

You will learn under experienced technicians and contribute to inspections, repairs and customer communications, with opportunities to earn performance-based pay and ASE certifications. The role includes a sign-on bonus and a flat-rate pay model, with benefits such as vacation, healthcare and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver7s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (company pays fees).
