Job summary

Reef City Motors in Gladstone, Queensland is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician for a full-time, permanent role. You will perform general servicing, maintenance and diagnostics on a range of vehicles, and fit aftermarket equipment and accessories in our busy workshop.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Technology (or equivalent) with a minimum of five years of experience; brand exposure to Ford, Chery, Subaru, Kia, Isuzu, GWM or Suzuki is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Light vehicle Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in automotive servicing and repair.
• Brand experience with Ford, Chery, Subaru, Kia, Isuzu, GWM or Suzuki is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns.
• Fit vehicle accessories and aftermarket equipment.
• Complete air conditioning repairs.
• Carry out engine and gearbox replacements.
• Rebuild engines and gearboxes.

We are currently seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team full time in Gladstone, working 38 hours a week across 5 days (with some overtime as required). Applicants must have:

• Certificate III Light vehicle Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience

Brand experience with the following would be an advantage:

• Ford, Chery, Subaru, Kia, Isuzu, GWM, and Suzuki

Duties and responsibilities include:

A salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per year will be offered to the successful candidate.
