Job summary

Peter Stevens Motorworld in Ballarat is seeking a qualified Automotive Technician to join the workshop team on a permanent full-time basis. You will perform repairs, maintenance and diagnostics, working across a range of vehicles.

Reporting to the Service/Workshop Manager, you will manage jobs efficiently, order parts, complete paperwork, and log warranty details. RWC experience valued but not essential; citizenship or valid visa required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with essential certification.
• Experience repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle repairs, maintenance and/or diagnosis as per repair order.
• Manage each job for efficiency across multiple vehicles.
• Order parts through in-house team and log warranty details.
• Complete all paperwork accurately with work and parts details.
• Assist management with additional duties as required.

We are looking for a qualified technicians to join the workshop team at Peter Stevens Motorworld.

About you:

Qualification as an Automotive Technician is essential to this role

RWC highly regarded but not essential

Experience repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles

A high level of attention to detail and pride in your work

Good communication skills and a commitment to providing our customers with he highest standard or repair and scheduled maintenance

Must have the right to work in Australia (in the form of Citizenship, Perm Residency or a valid Visa)

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Service / Workshop Manager you will ;

Carry out vehicle repairs, maintenance and/or diagnosis as per the repair order.

Manage each job for maximum efficiency, working effectively across multiple vehicles when necessary.

Order parts directly through out in-house team

Carry out warranty work and ensure all warranty details and parts are logged accurately.

Complete all paperwork correctly with all details regarding works carried out and/or parts ordered.

Perform other duties as requested by management.
