Job summary

The Wheelman is seeking a Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician with an Automotive Cert III or equivalent. You will repair wheels, interact with customers, and operate from a fully equipped van across locations. The role emphasizes autonomy, quality, and ongoing skill development.

Expected to work mostly 7am–3pm, with some days 8am–4pm, and a strong focus on delivering premium results for car dealerships and private customers. Training and a supportive admin team accompany your field work.

Qualifications

• Automotive Cert III or Trades Certificate in Automotive Paint Refinishing.
• Basic knowledge of Automotive Refinishing.
• Ability to operate a mini air sander/grinder; airbrush experience is an advantage.
• Neat appearance; communicate well with customers and fellow employees.
• Easy going and friendly attitude; problem solving.
• Willingness to travel to different locations and work outside a traditional shop.
• Knowledge of plastics repair and minor scratch and dent repairs is beneficial.

Automotive Spray Painter - Mobile Alloy Wheel Technician

Utilising our own TradeMarked repair and refinishing system, quality materials and only Qualified Cert III Technicians, our strive for perfection is recognised across Australia as the premium repairer of Alloy Wheels in car dealerships, auction houses and private customers.

The Technicians role is heavily supported with a National Supervisor and an Admin team, enabling the Technician to focus on meeting and greeting the customer, repairing the wheel and taking payment, our well trained Admin team take care of the rest.

What you will Bring

An Automotive Cert III or Trades Certificate in Automotive Paint Refinishing

Room for growth in a scratch and dent repairs format or into a supervisory role

Knowledge of plastics repair and minor scratch and dent repairs will also hold you in good stead.
