Job summary

Inchcape Australasia invites applications for an Automotive Foreman to lead the workshop in Bundoora, VIC. This permanent full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality servicing and repairs and mentoring technicians to uphold manufacturer specifications.

You will collaborate with the Workshop Controller and Service Manager to drive efficiency, ensure safety, and maintain exceptional customer service across a diverse brand portfolio including Subaru, Foton and Deepal.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician with trade qualifications.
• Experience in a Foreman or senior technician leadership role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote a strong "First Time Fix" culture across the workshop.
• Complete advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to technicians and apprentices.
• Work closely with the Workshop Controller to manage workflow and workshop productivity.
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs where required.
• Promote a safe working environment and adherence to workplace health and safety standards.
