Job summary

Skipper Automotive in Kent Town, South Australia, is seeking an experienced Automotive Electrician for a full-time role. You will diagnose, repair, maintain and install electrical systems across a range of vehicles in a professional workshop.

Applicants should have a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and at least 1 year of experience, with strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail. Salary is $75,000–$90,000 p/a plus super, based on experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent.
Demonstrated minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Electrician.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic systems.
Experience using diagnostic scanning and electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

Use diagnostic scanning and electrical test equipment to identify faults in motor vehicles.
Inspect, test, repair and replace electrical and electronic systems and components.
Install electrical equipment and accessories in motor vehicles.
Diagnose faults in engine management and electrical systems and perform repairs.
Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs and parts used.
