Job summary

Wyndham Accident Repair Centre in Hoppers Crossing, VIC, is seeking an automotive technician to remove and refit vehicle components during repairs, and to assemble and reassemble vehicles following manufacturer and workshop procedures.

You will fit and align panels, bumpers, lights, trims, mirrors and interior components; use hand tools and air tools safely; conduct quality inspections; test reassembled vehicles; and maintain a clean, safe work area while collaborating with panel beaters, spray

• Remove and refit vehicle components during the repair process.
• Assemble and reassemble vehicles following manufacturer and workshop procedures.
• Fit and align panels, bumpers, lights, trims, mirrors, mouldings and accessories.
• Install and remove interior components including seats, carpets, headlining and trim pieces.
• Use hand tools, air tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure all components are correctly fitted and operational.
• Test vehicle functionality following reassembly.
• Work in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with panel beaters, spray painters and technician.
