Job summary

Torque Toyota in Queensland is seeking a First Year Automotive Apprentice to start their career in a fast‑paced workshop. You will work under the Service Manager, gaining hands‑on experience in diagnosis, repairs and service planning while earning a recognised automotive qualification.

The role offers structured buddy‑system support, ongoing brand training, and opportunities for career progression within the Eagers Automotive Group.

Qualifications

Preferred Grade 12 completion with English & Maths competencies.
Must have or be eligible for Australian work rights.
Valid Australian Manual Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

General servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
Planning each job for maximum efficiency.
Repairing and maintaining in line with manufacturer and dealership requirements.
Identifying and repairing technical issues.
Identifying and recommending additional work as required.
Ordering parts from Parts Department; and
Completing quality and timely work to meet Customer needs as per Repair Order instructions.
