Job summary

Avance Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical & Industrial Automation Engineer to support electrical infrastructure, automation, and manufacturing process optimization. The role covers power distribution, PLC/SCADA systems, and factory improvement initiatives.

You will design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems while coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive bottlenecks out of the production line. On-site work is required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Automation Engineering.
• Experience in industrial electrical infrastructure and power distribution.
• Hands-on PLC/SCADA experience.
• Experience with commissioning, system upgrades, and production-line integration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical infrastructure and power distribution in industrial environments.
• Develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC and SCADA control systems.
• Configure and support industrial networks and automation systems.
• Work with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to identify process bottlenecks and improvements.
• Drive process capacity improvements and factory optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, control, and network issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems within industrial/factory environments.
• Develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC and SCADA control systems.
• Configure and support industrial communication networks and automation systems.
• Work with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to identify process bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Drive process capacity improvements, equipment efficiency, and factory optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation, control, and network-related issues to minimize production downtime.
• Support commissioning, testing, system upgrades, and integration of new equipment and production lines.
• Review existing automation and electrical systems and recommend improvements for reliability, safety, and performance.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with relevant electrical, safety, and industrial standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, system specifications, and project documentation.

Preferred Background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Control Systems, or a related discipline.
• Experience working on industrial automation, manufacturing, or process control projects.
• Experience with commissioning, system upgrades, and production‑line integration would be advantageous.
