WITRON Group is seeking an Operator Maintainer for our automated distribution centre in Redbank, Queensland. This hands-on role keeps our automated systems running smoothly by monitoring performance, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

  • Safety focus and adherence to procedures.
  • Hands-on mindset with practical problem solving.
  • Interest in automation, mechanics or technology.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts (weekends/public holidays).
  • Physical capability to walk, climb, and lift up to 25kg.
  • Confidence working at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols including safe manual handling practices.
  • Monitor and operate automated material handling systems.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve faults efficiently and safely.
  • Use logical problem-solving to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Work at heights of up to 30 metres (with full training and safety equipment).
  • Support high standards of housekeeping and site cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise system performance.
