Job summary

Chrysos Corporation in Adelaide is seeking a technically strong professional to advance automation and AI initiatives across business processes. You will design, build, and maintain automations and AI-enabled workflows, partnering with business units to scale efficiency and accuracy.

You will apply practical low‑code automation expertise, maintain governance, and collaborate with Infrastructure & Cloud teams to ensure secure deployment and long‑term support.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in a technical role involving automation, scripting, integrations or software development.
• Practical, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) or a similar low‑code automation tool
• Working knowledge of APIs and system integration concepts
• Analytical, solutions‑driven mindset with a genuine interest in solving business problems through technology
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Ability to document and maintain solutions for long‑term supportability
• Exposure to AI/LLM tools, prompt engineering or building AI agents (e.g. Copilot Studio, OpenAI or Anthropic)
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration fundamentals
• Awareness of emerging AI platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore or Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with structured or unstructured data, including basic reporting or data extraction

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive or inefficient processes suited to automation or AI
• Design, build and maintain automations and integrations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio)
• Develop and support AI-enabled workflows and AI agents, applying judgement on when automation or AI is appropriate
• Prototype, test and validate solutions before production
• Document, test and maintain automations and AI solutions for long‑term reliability
• Monitor deployed solutions for performance, cost and reliability
• Apply responsible AI practices in line with governance framework
• Stay updated on AI platforms and contribute to evaluation and adoption
• Collaborate with teams to understand pain points and turn them into solutions
• Explain solution options to non‑technical stakeholders
• Work with Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering on integration, security and deployment
• Contribute to Chrysos's AI Guild initiatives
• Provide basic training and ongoing support to end users

About The Role

Chrysos is looking for someone who has a passion for technology and wants to see their contribution provide measurable benefits across the business. The role will partner with the business to identify opportunities within existing business processes to bring scale and efficiency through AI and automation, while also investigating novel uses of AI specific to Chrysos. You will then design, build, maintain and monitor the solutions that solve business problems, upskilling teams along the way.

What You Will Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify manual, repetitive or inefficient processes suited to automation or AI
• Design, build and maintain automations and integrations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio)
• Develop and support AI-enabled workflows and AI agents, applying sound judgement about when automation, scripting or an LLM-based approach is the right tool
• Prototype, test and validate solutions before moving them into production
• Document, test and maintain implemented automations and AI solutions to ensure long‑term reliability and supportability
• Monitor deployed solutions for performance, cost and reliability, escalating issues as required
• Apply responsible AI practices (privacy, security and accountability) in line with Chrysos's AI governance framework
• Stay abreast of emerging automation and AI platforms (e.g. AWS Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, Azure AI Foundry) and contribute to their future evaluation and adoption
• Work directly with teams across the business to understand pain points and turn them into workable technical solutions
• Explain solution options and trade-offs clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering team on integration, security and deployment considerations
• Contribute to Chrysos's AI Guild initiatives, including use case intake, governance processes and knowledge sharing
• Provide basic training and ongoing support to end users of deployed automations and AI tools

Who you are:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
