Job summary

Upper Hunter Automotive is seeking skilled Auto Electricians to join our Muswellbrook workshop. You will diagnose and repair electrical faults across Ford, Mitsubishi, Kia, Subaru and BYD vehicles, including hybrids and EVs.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Automotive Electrician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with modern automotive electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Current driver's licence.
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical and electronic faults.
• Working with modern vehicle diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems.
• Troubleshooting wiring, sensors, control modules and electrical components.
• Diagnosing battery, charging and starting systems.
• Installing and repairing electrical accessories, including 4WD equipment.
• Assisting workshop technicians with complex electrical diagnosis.
• Working across a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

About the Role
