Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking skilled Auto Electricians to support Australia’s growing mining and heavy equipment sector in Queensland. The role offers a permanent position to work with advanced mobile machinery, apply diagnostic expertise, and continually develop trade skills within a professional field service environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised Auto Electrician trade qualification
• Experience with heavy vehicles, mobile plant or mining equipment
• Strong ability in electrical fault finding, diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Experience with automotive air conditioning systems

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced fault diagnosis and repairs across heavy mobile equipment electrical systems
• Complete scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance to maintain equipment reliability
• Inspect, test and repair automotive electrical components and systems
• Diagnose electrical, electronic and air conditioning system issues
• Use technical knowledge to recommend repair solutions and improve equipment performance
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy and workmanship on every task
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Work efficiently both independently and with field service teams
• Support continuous improvement through knowledge sharing and technical development
• Represent the organisation professionally when working with clients and site teams
