Coastal Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning in Nowra NSW is seeking an Auto Electrician or Mechanic looking to cross over. This workshop is known for its high standards, presentation and the quality of what leaves our doors.

No two days are the same. You will work on a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including 12V systems, diagnostics, air conditioning, and mobile work for heavy vechicles, tractors and work vehicles.

Competenze

• Candidate must be either a 3rd/4th year apprentice auto electrician ready to finish their trade or a qualified mechanic transitioning to auto electrical.
• Will support training to become a qualified auto electrician. Prior electrical skills highly valued.

Mansioni

• Diagnose electrical faults and perform 12V system work.
• Install lighting, dash cams, and accessories.
• Diagnose and repair automotive air conditioning.
• Plan and perform mobile work and callouts during business hours.

Join the Shoalhaven's cleanest and most respected auto electrical workshop.

At Coastal Auto Electrical and Air Conditioning, we don't do rushed work or production line jobs. We do it properly, every time. Our workshop is known across the Shoalhaven for its standards, its presentation and the quality of what leaves our doors. We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to join our team.

The work

No two days are the same. You'll work on a wide range of vehicles and machinery, including:

• Auto electrical diagnostics and fault finding
• 12V systems, dual battery and off grid fitouts for 4WDs, touring vehicles and work vehicles
• Electrical accessory installation: lighting, dash cams, communications and custom builds
• Automotive air conditioning diagnosis and repair
• Planned mobile work and call outs on heavy vehicles, tractors and machinery, all during business hours

We take on work that demands skill and attention to detail. You'll have the time, tools and support to do the job right.

Who we're looking for

We're open to applicants from any one of three pathways:

• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Auto Electrician ready to finish their trade in a workshop that will challenge and develop them
• Qualified Mechanic with strong electrical skills who wants to cross over into auto electrical. We cover your training costs and support you through to becoming a qualified auto electrician. A member of our team has already completed this pathway with us, so it's a proven route, not a promise.

• A current driver's licence
• A refrigerant handling licence (ARCtick) is highly regarded, or we can support you to get one

What we offer

• 4.5 day week on full pay. Every Friday finishes at 12:30pm.
• No weekends, no after hours call outs and no on call roster. All mobile work is planned in advance and done during business hours.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:15pm, Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
