Job summary

Balambalam Primary School invites an Auslan Teacher to design and grow a completely new language program from Foundation to Year 6. You will work with school leaders to build the Auslan curriculum, resources, and assessment practices while embedding Deaf culture across the school community.

You will collaborate with classroom teams and the Deaf community to ensure authentic language learning experiences and inclusive practices align with Balambalam’s values and growth plans.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Auslan language learning and ability to plan a sequential program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Auslan teaching for Foundation–Year 6.
• Differentiate learning to meet diverse needs of students.
• Develop and implement a sequential Auslan curriculum and assessment practices.
