Job summary

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a national and internationally affiliated mid-tier firm to recruit an Audit Senior in Australia. The role involves leading on audit engagements, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring timely delivery of client needs across varied company sizes and structures.

The Successful Applicant should hold CA/CPA qualifications (or be close to completion), have 2–3+ years’ audit experience, and demonstrate autonomy, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of CA/CPA Qualification or on final subject.
• 2–3+ years' experience within a similar position.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to assist in the management of a client portfolio to ensure all client needs are dealt with on a timely basis.
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducting various audit engagements simultaneously with numerous engagement team members per audit.
• Performing debtor collection, cost management and billing functions, assisting with planning, execution and scheduling staff.
• Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS and preparing reports and opinions to management.
• Assisting with management and co-ordination of the audit team including training, mentoring and methodology compliance.
