RSM Brisbane Assurance & Advisory is seeking an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager to join our growing team on a permanent basis. You will lead and deliver audits from planning through to completion, work with ASX-listed and large private groups, and mentor junior staff while delivering practical, value-added solutions.

We value integrity, technical knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and the Corporations Act, and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years' external audit experience for Senior level, or 5+ years' for Assistant Manager level.
• Experience leading audit engagements and supervising junior team members.
• Exposure to mining/resources, digital assets/blockchain, financial services and/or AFSL-regulated entities is advantageous.
• CA or CPA qualification, or nearing completion.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and the Corporations Act.

As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Audit Senior or Assistant Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an auditor looking to accelerate their career while working with complex and interesting clients, particularly within the mining and resources, digital assets/blockchain, financial services and AFSL-regulated sectors. At RSM, you'll work closely with listed and large private groups, emerging growth businesses, and regulated entities, gaining exposure to a diverse range of engagements while developing your leadership, technical and commercial capabilities.

The Opportunity

As an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering audit engagements from planning through to completion while building strong relationships with clients and mentoring junior team members. You will work across a diverse portfolio including: ASX-listed and large private groups Mining and resources companies Digital asset, blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses AFSL holders and financial services entities Technology and high-growth businesses Public sector and not-for-profit organisations. This role offers a clear pathway to further leadership opportunities and provides exposure to some of the most dynamic and evolving industries in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers, testing and documentation across significant and complex audit areas.
• Identify, assess and resolve technical accounting and auditing matters, escalating issues where required.
• Review financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing audit reports, management letters and client presentations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service delivery.
• Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Coach, mentor and develop graduates, audit assistants and junior team members.
• Support engagement budgeting, scheduling and project management activities.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and identify opportunities to provide additional value to clients.

About you
