Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience audit experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong prioritising skills.
• Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Detailed working knowledge and application of Corporations Act, Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards and other applicable legislation.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing multiple audit engagements across a variety of sectors.
• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Coaching and developing junior team members.
• Identifying and resolving technical accounting and audit issues.
• Contributing to business development, tenders, and presentations.
• Collaborating with Partners and Directors on business unit strategy and operations.

As anAudit Managerin our Ballarat office, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading audit engagements, developing client relationships, and mentoring a high-performing team. You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive environment where your ideas matter and your growth is a priority.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and managing multiple audit engagements across a variety of sectors

• Building strong, lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders

About you:

We are seeking an experienced audit professional who has a strong technical understanding of accounting standards and audit procedures, paired with excellent communication and organisational skills. Confident in managing multiple priorities and mentoring team members, you’ll bring a proactive approach to client service and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
