Qualifications

• Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
• CA studies completed or commenced (or equivalent).
• Approximately 6-12 months of audit experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Genuine desire to learn and build a long-term career in professional services.

Responsibilities

• Apply fundamental audit skills within the RSM audit methodology.
• Prepare and complete audit workpapers, documenting testing and findings.
• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork activities.
• Develop knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
• Use leading audit technology and electronic audit tools.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for clients and management.
• Support senior team members with audit engagements and client requirements.
• Maintain training records, timesheets and other administrative requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Audit Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced audit professionals and gain hands on experience across a broad range of engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
