Job summary

Hearing Australia is seeking an Audiologist to support and empower clients across metro Sydney with travel to regional NSW. You will assess, fit and tailor rehabilitative strategies for both adults and children in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must have tertiary qualification in Audiology.
• Full membership with Audiology Society of Australia.
• Strong knowledge of clinical Audiology procedures and standards.
• Solid understanding of the Hearing Services Program.
• Experience with NDIA scheme.
• Willingness to travel to other locations for clinical work.
• Ability to support changes to clinical practice, products and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess auditory problems of non-complex adult clients according to Australian guidelines.
• Provide rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids and assistive devices.
• Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists.
• Participate in visiting site services and home visits.
• Coordinate with NDIA representatives and families to ensure best outcomes.
• Engage in marketing and public relations activities as required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage client load to meet revenue targets.
