Job summary

Connect Hearing in Bundaberg, Queensland seeks an Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our clinic on a permanent full‑time basis, Monday to Friday. You will assess, diagnose and provide tailored hearing solutions, while supporting clients with rehabilitation and ongoing care within a patient‑centred team.

The successful candidate will have a university qualification in Audiology or a TAFE qualification in Audiometry, be a full member of AudA or ACAud (HAASA) with a current QP number or

Qualifications

• A recognised university qualification in Audiology or a TAFE qualification in Audiometry.
• Full membership with AudA or ACAud, including HAASA, and a current QP number or eligibility.
• Strong audiological knowledge and clinical skills.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client care and achieving positive hearing outcomes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Comfort with learning and using new technology and software.
• Evidence of a results-focused approach and capability to meet KPIs.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with GPs and other allied health professionals.
• Right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose hearing loss using audiometric testing and related techniques.
• Interpret and document assessment outcomes and refer to medical practitioners as needed.
• Recommend tailored hearing solutions including amplification and devices.
• Deliver aural rehabilitation programs and provide ongoing client support.
• Counsel clients and families about hearing care options and management.
• Support clients with hearing and communication difficulties from age-related or other conditions.
• Contribute to hearing conservation and noise management strategies.
• Build long-term relationships with clients and deliver outstanding service.
