Job summary

Little Athletics Queensland is seeking casual Development Coordinators to coach children through school-based programs in Brisbane North. Morning and afternoon sessions are available, making these entry-level roles ideal for students or those starting in sport.

Two roles exist: Program Leaders and Program Assistants, assigned by ability to lead and take responsibility at sessions. Roles span South East Queensland with a focus on Brisbane North.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of athletics and Little Athletics.
• Strong communication skills with children and adults.
• Excellent program planning and delivery skills.
• Good energy and enjoyment for coaching.
• Ability to lead and work effectively with others as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coach children through Ultimate Athletics and school programs.
• Lead sessions as Program Leader or Program Assistant, taking responsibility as the senior figure at sessions.
• Contribute to other development programs when opportunities arise.
