Job summary

Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School is seeking a Head of Athletic Development to join our Sport Department on a casual basis commencing in Term 4, 2026. The role leads and develops high-quality athletics programs for girls from Grade 5 to Year 12, supporting participation in inter-school competitions and elite school sport pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in athletics coaching and school sport programs.
• Knowledge of strength and conditioning for team and individual athletes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Ability to work with students, coaches, staff and families.
• Current Working with Children Check or VIT registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-quality athletics programs for grades 5–12.
• Support students participating in GSV and SSV competitions.
• Foster a positive, inclusive sporting culture across the school community.
