Gilchrist Connell in Melbourne is seeking an Associate to join our national Workplace practice. You will work with Principals and colleagues across the firm, handling a broad range of workplace relations and safety matters and building strong client relationships.

The role offers opportunities to develop technical expertise, take increasing responsibility, and progress your career in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years post-admission experience in workplace relations and/or workplace safety.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Why the role? As our national Workplace practice continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate to join our Melbourne office. Working with experienced Principals and talented colleagues across the firm, you will be exposed to a broad range of workplace relations and safety law matters. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, develop your technical expertise and take increasing responsibility for managing matters as your career progresses.

Who are you?

• Approximately two to five years of post-admission experience in workplace relations and/or workplace safety.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
• Practical and client-focused in your approach to problem solving.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
