Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience applying Design Thinking, Lean and Agile methodologies to discover, validate and develop digital products or services.
• Foundational product management skills including customer discovery, value proposition development, prioritisation and roadmap planning.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence and its practical application in business and product innovation.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Innovation Team in identifying, evaluating and shaping new product and technology opportunities.
• Conduct customer, market and stakeholder discovery to validate problems, opportunities and potential solutions.
• Apply Design Thinking and the DVF framework to assess ideas and develop funding recommendations.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies, particularly AI, with a willingness to learn and build prototypes.

Associate Product Manager

Our team is part of the Assurance practice, and we are committed to serving the public interest by conducting high-quality, data-driven audits with a strong sense of independence, integrity, and professional skepticism. This includes navigating the new frontier of risks and opportunities arising from climate change and sustainability issues. The Product team plays a key role in this mission by innovating how our multidisciplinary teams operate, combining a deep business insight with the latest technological advancements.

This role can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support the Innovation Team in identifying, evaluating and shaping new product and technology opportunities.
• Conduct customer, market and stakeholder discovery to validate problems, opportunities and potential solutions.
• Apply Design Thinking and the Desirability, Viability and Feasibility (DVF) framework to assess ideas and develop recommendations for funding and progression.
• Explore and apply emerging technologies, particularly AI, with a willingness to learn and build prototypes that support product discovery, validation and innovation outcomes.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Passion for innovation, product management, AI and emerging technologies, with a curiosity for solving complex business problems.
• 1-3 years’ experience applying Design Thinking, Lean and Agile methodologies to discover, validate and develop digital products or services.
• Foundational product management skills, including customer discovery, value proposition development, prioritisation and roadmap planning.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence and its practical application in business and product innovation.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
