Job summary

Ivory Group is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a pipeline spanning education, commercial, health, and industrial sectors. You will partner with clients and internal teams to ensure project delivery excellence, grow the structures division, and advance technical standards.

You will guide a team of engineers, drive new client onboarding, and shape the strategic direction of the Structures division in a collaborative, growth-focused firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartership status and NER registration essential.
  • Proven experience leading projects end-to-end with stakeholder liaison.
  • Strong technical capability in structural software and client relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a diverse project portfolio across education, commercial, health and mixed-use sectors.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage current and onboard new clients to drive commercial outcomes.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

You will be leading an existing pipeline of projects across the education, commercial, health, industrial, retail and mixed use sectors alongside an existing team of Structural Engineers. Liaising with existing clients, you will build strong partnerships that will support you in achieving commercial outcomes for the Structural division. Playing a crucial role in the growth of the division you will drive initiatives to onboard new clients, improve technical standards and excellence as well as developing the team.


DUTIES.


  • Lead and deliver a diverse projects portfolio across the education, commercial, health, industrial, retail and mixed use sectors

  • Liaise with all relevant stakeholders throughout the process to achieve smooth delivery

  • Manage current and onboard new clients to drive commercial outcomes

  • Play a leadership role to the existing team of Engineers to develop technical ability and support their career aspirations


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.


  • Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering

  • Chartership status and NER registration essential, DBP highly regarded

  • Proven experience in leading projects from start to finish, liaising with all relevant stakeholders for smooth delivery

  • Strong technical capability and proficiency in software such as RAPT, Inducta, Space Gass, RAM Concept or similar

  • Exceptional communication with the ability to build genuine, long term relationships with clients

  • Inspiring leader with previous experience in leading a team
