Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for the Work & Skills team. The role is based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane and is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office weekly.

You will support client projects, connect business and workforce strategy, and develop practical recommendations as part of a collaborative consulting team. You will contribute to thought leadership on the future of work, jobs and skills, and leverage AI and productivity tools to deliver quality

Associate or Senior Associate, Work & Skills

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Work & Skills team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh's Work & Skills consulting services support clients across the public and private sectors to shape the future of work through organisation design, workforce strategy and planning, HR strategy and transformation, and leadership and change adoption. In this role, you will contribute to a range of client projects and help deliver practical, high-quality outcomes as part of a collaborative consulting team. You will gain exposure to varied work across multiple sectors and build your consulting capability in a supportive environment.

What you need to have:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: organisation design, workforce planning, HR strategy and transformation
• Well-developed analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively through ambiguity
• Project coordination or project management skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and active listening skills
• Sense-making skills, with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendations
• A willingness to learn and share expertise with others
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
