Job summary

Bayside Health in Melbourne’s coastal region is recruiting an Associate Midwife Unit Manager – Clinic Coordinator to support the Midwife Unit Manager and lead the Outpatient Clinic Department at Sandringham.

You will provide safe, evidence-based, person-centred care, oversee clinic delivery and work with the leadership team to achieve optimal health outcomes. Requires AHPRA registration and ≥2 years’ pregnancy clinic experience.

Qualifications

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife or as an RN/RM with midwifery scope.
• Minimum 2 years’ pregnancy care clinic experience.
• Commitment to exceptional pregnancy care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Support and act for the Midwife Unit Manager to lead the Outpatient Clinic.
• Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, person-centred care.
• Oversee clinic operations and contribute to leadership goals.

The Team & Role

The Associate Midwife Unit Manager (AMUM) Clinic Coordinator is a valued member of the leadership team at Bayside Health, committed to upholding Bayside Health's values and meeting organisational goals.

The AMUM supports the Midwife Unit Manger (MUM) and when required acts in their role to provide effective leadership and management of the Outpatient Clinic Department. The AMUM works with the MUM to oversee the delivery of safe, evidence based, person centred care to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

• AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife
• Minimal 2 years pregnancy care clinic experience
• Passion for exceptional pregnancy care
