The role

Are you an ambitious lawyer with a passion for commercial litigation and class actions? Our Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Sydney is looking for a 3 PQE Associate with experience in commercial litigation and a keen interest in funded litigation and class actions to join our high‑performing team.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming work this is an excellent career opportunity to grow and progress in a fast‑paced but rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be provided the direct opportunity to be mentored by experienced partners and senior lawyers whilst working on complex litigation and disputes with an emphasis on class actions and large‑scale corporate disputes.

Our team also works closely with many Australian and international litigation funders and is regularly briefed on third‑party funded litigation.

About you
  • Minimum of 4 years post‑admission legal experience
  • A strong commercial litigator with an interest in class actions and funded litigation
  • An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills
  • Exceptional time‑management skills with the ability to multi‑task, manage competing priorities and at times work to tight deadlines
  • Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits
  • A team‑player mentality with a supportive and collaborative working style
  • A high attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
