OPSM in Ipswich is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Part Time Retail Assistant to welcome customers, understand their eyewear needs and guide them through product selections from luxury brands. You’ll contribute to a positive in-store experience with excellent service and fashion-forward insights.

The role emphasizes helping customers see the beauty of life through premium frames and lenses, while collaborating with a supportive team and receiving ongoing training and perks.

Qualifications

• Retail experience on the floor helps with customer engagement and product recommendations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and warmly with customers and teammates.
• Willingness to learn about frame fitting, lens options and fashion brands.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor, provide product advice and fittings.
• Support checkout processes, stock replenishment and store displays.

You will be involved in the customer’s journey from initial consult and pre-testing, to customising High-Fashion frames (from Luxury Brands such as CHANEL, Tiffany & Co. and Gucci) to suit their lifestyle.
