Job summary

NSW Health is seeking an Associate Director, Partnership & Performance to lead ICT governance, service assurance and cyber security across NSW Ambulance. You will partner with NSW Ambulance, eHealth NSW and external suppliers to drive better outcomes and responsible spend.

The role oversees governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities to ensure secure, reliable digital services and informed decision-making for complex operations across the NSW health ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology, cyber security, governance or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated senior experience in ICT service governance, partner or supplier management, operational performance, cyber risk and compliance in a large and complex environment.
• Strong knowledge of ICT governance, operational performance monitoring, service improvement and issue escalation in a complex shared-service or multi-provider environment, with an understanding of public sector probity, records, procurement and financial management expectations.
• Experience reviewing operational charges, expenditure reports or supplier billing information, with the ability to identify discrepancies and support value-for-money outcomes.
• Experience leading or improving ICT asset management, lifecycle reporting, reconciliation or related governance practices.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security risk management, compliance monitoring, attestation, audit actions, assurance reporting and third-party cyber risk obligations.
• Well-developed analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret complex operational, financial, asset and cyber information and convert it into clear executive advice.
• High-level stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to lead and work effectively with internal teams during competing demands, eHealth NSW, NSW Health, vendors and senior stakeholders, and build a constructive, accountable and customer-focused culture.

Salary Range:$180,279 - $201,662 per annum (Health Mgr Lvl 5)

About the opportunity

The Associate Director, Partnership and Performance leads the Information and Digital Services functions responsible for ICT partnerships, service assurance, financial governance, ICT asset management, business application user administration and cyber security risk and compliance. The role provides strategic oversight of governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities to support secure and reliable digital services across NSW Ambulance.

About you

To be successful, you will bring:
